  • SENIOR PASTOR

    Pastor John Jones and his wife Sue have been leading Valley Christian Church for over 33 years. On Sundays, you can find Pastor John teaching God’s word and his wife Sue playing the keyboard. Together, they have dedicated their lives to building a Christ-centered community in the Imperial Valley, faithfully teaching God’s Word, welcoming others, and caring for people through prayer and personal connection.

  • YOUTH PASTOR | JR. HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL

    Born and raised in the Imperial Valley, Elias has always had a strong passion for serving the people of his community. He has worked in youth and worship ministry for over eight years and recently received a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Applied Psychological Studies from Arizona State University.

    Elias’ heart is to see a generation sold out for Jesus. His goal for youth ministry is to create a God-centered, Biblically sound, and Holy Spirit-driven ministry that recognizes, equips, and commissions the hearts and callings of young people. He is excited and honored to be a part of this great team.

  • NURSERY & WEE WORSHIP DIRECTOR

    Mickey has a heart for sharing God’s love with children. After serving military children and families for 35 years through the Child and Youth Programs at Naval Air Facility El Centro, she felt called to continue serving in children’s ministry.

    As the Nursery & Wee Worship Coordinator at Valley Christian Church, Mickey considers it a blessing to partner with families and volunteers as she helps plant seeds of faith that will last a lifetime.

  • ASSOCIATE PASTOR | YOUNG ADULTS

    Passionate about youth ministry, Santiago has dedicated the past eight years to serving as a youth and young adults pastor. Santiago works closely with his wife, Jade, in creating programs and events designed to reach the next generation for Jesus. Santiago's ministry is driven by a desire to see young people build an authentic love and relationship with Jesus. His dedication extends to his family, with his wife Jade and their two baby girls, Psalm and Selah, who support and inspire his mission. Santiago's heart for ministry is reflected in his commitment to fostering genuine connections and spiritual growth among the youth & young adults in his community.

  • CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

    Raised in the Imperial Valley, Rosie grew up actively involved in children's ministry through Sunday school and kids' church. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for teaching children and helping them grow in their faith. That passion led her to earn her degree in Elementary Education, and she now serves as a kindergarten teacher, where she has the joy of nurturing young minds every day.
    In addition to teaching, Rosie is honored to serve as the Children's Church Director at Valley Christian Church. Rosie’s heart is to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can build a personal relationship with Jesus, grow in their understanding of God's Word, and learn to live out the truths of the Bible in their everyday lives. Her prayer is that every child who walks through our doors feels loved, encouraged, and equipped to follow Christ with confidence.
